The Michael E English Band is a culmination of the vast array of work he has created over the decades. From Blues to Rock, MEB brings together Michael's lifelong friends and colleagues to reinvent the influences that have spotlit their careers.
Last Spring, Michael recorded at Horse Latitudes Studio (Robby Krieger of The Doors Studio) with Al Bonhomme on Guitar (Musicians Institute of Hollywood, California Country Music Association Guitarist of the year), Herman Matthews on Drums (Tower of Power, Kenny Loggins, Tom Jones and several others) and with the Grammy nominated Eric Corne as Engineer/Producer (John Mayall, Walter Trout, Sugar Ray Rayford and many others)...
The Michael English Band will be releasing singles to go with a final album collection soon. He's been finishing songs one at a time and will unleash them as they are ready to be released... ie. fully cleaned up, mixed, mastered and with credits and artwork.. Some songs take longer than others, and that's kind of how the music flows out of the artist.
New December Release - 'I Need Somebody'
If you've been following along, then you know that The Michael E English Band has been releasing one new song per month,
which will culminate into a full length album next year. For now, all these songs are available on all major music streaming platforms.

July 2024: It was 'Sin Town Sadie' - an irresistible anthem for high rollers who are ready to take their Lady out on the town. 'Sin Town Sadie' is the perfect song to cruise down the Strip with your babe riding shotgun. It's like 'Fear & Loathing', but more fun.
June 2024: Michael unleashes the first in a series with 'Hell Hath No Fury' - a cautionary tale of messing with a pissed off woman.

BB Chung King (Alan Mirikitani) has written songs for Lonnie Brooks, Tinsley Ellis and Ruth Brown, who won a Grammy with his song "Too Little, Too Late." He also wrote several songs for films and TV shows. He's legendary guitarist in the world of blues.
Billy Mason is the keyboardist for Eddie Money, Dave Mason and several other rock stars and is also a studio musician in Nashville.
Lee Spath (Drums) is a first call studio musician in the Los Angeles area and records/tours internationally with artists such as John McVie and Robert Cray.
